PHL IV Infinity Cup Final

By Bert Harbinson / December 7th, 2021

After a great PHL IV campaign, the Infinity Cup Final is finally here. In the Semi-Finals, Howell only needed one game to beat Seattle in the twice-to-win series. The Snakes' game was plagued by airballs leading to easy Howell buckets. On the other end of the bracket, Minnesota swept Colorado in two. Colorado started off game 1 even with Minnesota. The Crushers had a 7-6 lead before giving up a 10-0 run to lose the contest. Game 2 was a battle that went the distance. The Mystery hit a miracle shot that bounced straight up off the rim and in to tie the game at 14 and force overtime. In OT, Colorado was up both 16-14 and 18-16 but a foul in the corner sent Minnesota to the line and gave the Mystery a 19-18 lead that they didn't relinquish. Minnesota won the game 21-18 en route to the Final in their first season. Games 1 and 2 of the best of five Final are tonight, 12/07 at 5:00. The game will NOT be streamed live so be sure to come out to Karaluz Court to find out who wins.
