On July 4th, it was revealed that Zack was to be removed from the Penthouse League prior to the upcoming playoffs and this has since been confirmed by the Commissioner's Office. With Zack's absence, the League has reworked the playoff format, getting rid of the Wild-Card game. Brian will play in one of the best-of-three Semi-Finals against Snakes and Hammer will play in the other Semi-Final against Tyler. The Infinity Cup Final remains a best-of-five affair.
Combining this news with prior knowledge of PHL II, we now know that at least five teams are confirmed for participation (three returning teams and two expansion teams).
